Rumor Has It...

HOLY SHIT! Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake are engaged!! I thought Cameron didn't want to get married! Isn't that what she yaps about anytime she gets on a talk show???

Yes, it happened seconds after the goofy yet hot duo returned from their holiday ski trip in Telluride, Colorado. Maybe the snow got to them? I dunno. What I can tell you is that this was hardly the stuff of Katie Holmes' visions. See, Cam is not into all that "take me to Paris and fill me with diamonds" brouhaha.

"Justin didn't get down on his knee," 'splains my extreme insider. "They were just talking about it and were kind of like, Yep, let's do it. He didn't give her a ring, and she's still not wearing one. But she is squealing, like, all the time." (Awful Truth)

Alicia Keys is going to be an executive producer for a show that is loosely based on her life for UPN. The Chris Rock show did well and now UPN is betting Alicia to continue the trend. It isn't interesting to me but it might live long enough to finish the season.

The coming-of-age story will follow a girl from a biracial family. Keys, 24, was born to a white mother and a black father, who split up when she was two. She was raised in the gritty Hell's Kitchen area of New York by her mother, started learning classical piano at six, and frequently ventured up to Harlem to absorb the lifestyle. (Reuters)

Tori Spelling is SOOOO lucky to have Aaron as her father. She is crazy ugly (even after a million dollars of plastic surgery) and has zero talent. But that isn't stopping VH1 from creating a show just for her!

VH1 has set an April 2 premiere date for its first comedy series, "So Notorious," starring Tori Spelling in a fictionalized version of herself. The show originally was developed as a pilot for NBC, which passed before VH1 picked it up. "It's our biggest project from a cost perspective," said Michael Hirschorn, VH1's newly appointed executive VP original programing and production. "But it seemed like the next logical step for the network, so it was a risk we were happy to take." (Reuters)

Oprah finally makes a comment about all the buzz on A Million Little Pieces and how full of shit it is. In order to save face, she is standing by the author, James Frey!

"What is relevant is that he was a drug addict ... and stepped out of that history to be the man he is today and to take that message to save other people and allow them to save themselves," Winfrey said Wednesday night in a surprise phone call to CNN's Larry King, who was interviewing Frey on his live television program. Meryl Streep met Lindsay Lohan while filming A Prairie Home Companion. Meryl has offered to become her Hollywood Mentor! Lindsay is brushing it off as a joke.

"Lindsay's been told Meryl offered to mentor her — and she should take advantage of it," a friend of Lindsay tells Star People. "But Lindsay is just like, 'Oh, she probably doesn't want to deal with me.' I think she's just a little starstruck. Lindsay's just so in awe of Meryl." (Star Magazine)

Orlando Bloom wants to hold off his engagement to Kate Bosworth because he doesn't agree with her lifestyle.

"Orlando feels Kate tends to burn the candle at both ends," says the source. "She seems to have lost weight during the production of Superman Returns, and it sounds like Orlando's definitely noticed and asked her to take up a more healthy sleep schedule." (Star Magazine)
